First, Barbara is still feeling about the same. Some sores in her mouth and tastes still messed up. She does seem a little bit better each day and is trying to be more active, but it is hard to tell any big differences. At least no major issues or problems for several days now, so generally doing better overall.
We did get the surgery confirmed for 7/13 at 10:10 am. At least now we have something firm to plan for. Our son is planning to come here near the end of her stay in the hospital so I can come home one night and get things ready for her to come home. Mainly to do a little shopping (fresh things) and I should have a better idea on what she may want and be able to eat. He will be coming without Connor and that will be a big help to both of us.
Not much will be happening until the surgery, but I will try to do a brief update if any news and periodically just to let people know how she is doing.
