We have a pretty good routine worked out and everything is going pretty good. We both got some sleep last night which is helping. I am sleeping better than her, but at least she is getting some and had less interruptions during the night. As more time goes by, the number of medications she needs to take is going down which also helps.
We have an appointment for her followup test next Friday morning in Portland. Unfortunately, we may not get any results until the following Monday or Tuesday, but there is a slight chance we will on Friday. Barbara is really looking forward to being able to eat or even drink something so we are very much looking forward to that, but she has to heal before she can start taking in anything. The healing is clearly going much slower than we could have hoped, but as long as it does heal, that is what counts. Other than that, she is doing well. Still has some pain, but that is also getting better so all in all, she is doing very well. Just more waiting which is getting old, but what else can we do.
Not sure there will be much to report for the next few days, but will try to do a brief update as there is anything to report.
