We finally made it home! We did not leave the hospital until about 4 and did not make it home until after 7. We had to go back roads (no Interstate) because I was running on the temp spare and had to stop at Walmart for a few things. The home care nurse actually found our house and was here when we arrived. She went through everything with us and made sure we were set up for the feeding tube and various meds that need to go through the tube. We are handling it so far, but need to set up a schedule tomorrow for everything to make sure we don't forget anything.
It is late and we are beat, so I will sign off for now, but will do a more complete update on status and plans tomorrow.
