Barbara felt better this morning, but after a day out (little shopping and meal out), she is back to about where she has been. Definitely better than a week ago, but still not great.
We did a little research on the stomach surgery and from what we read, the recovery from that surgery may be worse than we had thought. This did not help her mood any since she had basically be ignoring the surgery thinking it was not too bad and would mean no Chemo for at least a little while. She has been through many surgeries and can handle them OK after a week or so, but this one sounds like the recovery may be a lot longer. We will of course get a lot more info when we sit down with the surgeon to set it up. We at least know more about what to ask now.
We see the doctor (Oncologist) tomorrow, so I will let everyone know what the plan is for the next cycle tomorrow and hopefully when the re-staging will be.
