Barbara's nausea continued to improve a little today. She had a little bit of a rough night last night as her stomach bothered her in the evening and during the night some (mostly gas but nausea also worse), but she did start feeling better this morning. I think that was at least partly because of over doing it a little yesterday. The milkshake we got on the way home yesterday afternoon may not have been a very good idea either, but it sounded good to her at the time.
The tingling also was better today. It acted up some, but not as much as it has been over the past 10 days and even when it acted up, it seemed to subside quicker than previous days. Hopefully this means the Oxal is getting out of her system and she will continue to feel better each day. She was actually fairly busy today compared to the past week, so I am sure she will be exhausted tonight. No real heavy activity, but just constantly doing something. Fatigue continues to be an issue, but if she does not push herself too much, she is able to handle it. Starting to feel a little better each day is also helping her spirits and attitude.
We actually had a real dinner tonight which was nice. We cooked fish on the grill with spoon bread and spinach (still working to get her potassium up), so generally a pretty good day again.
The weather was great today with the high around 74 which is very nice for up here this time of year. I was even able to do a little outside although I did notice a couple black flies. It should be cooler tomorrow (more normal) with rain so no outside activity unfortunately as I would like to get her outside to take at least a short walk. Maybe it will be good enough for that sometime during the day.
Just a note, we have been eating a lot of eggs lately. From some of my reading, protein is very good to eat when you have cancer as that is something your body needs but it is not something cancel cells crave. Fortunately, we both like eggs for breakfast and I am learning how to at least cook scrambled eggs with or without cheese good enough for her. She still cooks the fried eggs although I can handle the bacon or sausage.
