Cycle 1, Day 20

First, yesterday's title should have been day 19 rather than 18.  Sorry about that.

She had her Iron infusion today and that went off without any problems or side effects.  Hopefully that will help with the full treatment on Wednesday.

Since she has had no problems with the 1000mg of the Chemo pills since last Thursday, the doctor told us to add back another 150mg per dosage starting tonight to see how she handles that.  We assume this means she will continue with that (1150mg twice a day) for cycle 2 if she does not have any problems over the next couple days.

We got her nausea medication refilled today so we are ready for the second cycle.  If she feels bad like last time, we are set to just sit it out and make the best of it.  Hopefully she will do better, but we are prepared for the worst.

She still has her hair, but says she thinks she might be starting to lose it.  She thinks some has come out more than normal, but nothing noticeable to me yet.  We expect it to happen eventually, so taking longer than expected is a good thing.  She will not like that if/when it happens, but she'll handle it OK.  She is keeping a positive attitude about it all which is critical.
