Brief Update:  Barbara continues to slowly heal.  The sores in her mouth are now gone which is a great plus.  Unfortunately, her nausea is still hanging around.  We are not sure how much is still from the Chemo and how much might be from still learning how to eat the new way.  She is trying almost anything and some meat is starting to sound good.  She felt like Fried Chicken last night and she made some and it tasted good (it always has to me, so I thought it was great).  She could not eat too much and ended up making chicken salad out of her left overs later and ate that too.

She has not had as much problem with stuck food lately, but I think that is mostly because she is being very careful when she eats.  Maybe the narrow spot is stretching out a little, but who knows at this point.  The hole where the feeding tube was is healing nicely but is still sore.  She still tires quicker than before, but that is improving also.  Bottom line is that things seems to be progressing pretty well given every thing she has been through but she is really ready to feel good or normal again.  Hopefully soon.

Her only real problem at this point is that in the evening when she settles down, her feet will ache and she gets restless legs.  That is making it hard to sleep, both going to sleep initially and staying asleep all night.  We have not really been able to find something that will work well with this, but we will keep trying.

Nothing else to report at this time and we do not see anyone for over a week.
