Barbara is starting to feel a little better today, but still not good. This is both the nausea and diarrhea. She has been off of the pills for almost a day, but it could take a couple days to get it all out of her system. Hopefully she will get better in a couple days and maybe even back to normal by early next week. Last night she was really feeling bad, so today is a big improvement over that. Maybe it is good she stopped the pills for now.
She has been able to drink some fluids at room temperature and even at cool temperatures last night and this morning if she drinks slowly, so that is a big improvement for her. Her fingers are still tingling at times, but not as much or as ofter as at first, so this is also continuing to get better.
We have an appointment with her Oncologist next Thursday afternoon, so we should have a plan going forward at that point. I am sure that plan will depend a lot on how she is doing by then, but we will see. The big question is what he will want to change given her reactions to the current drugs and wanting to be as aggressive as possible.
There should not be much to report until next Thursday, but I will try to put out a brief update on how she is feeling each (or at least most) days.
